I'm surprised that no one has added a comment here about Hindu Putri Pathshala. My mothedr studied there. I studied there in Class6 and Class7 in the years 1966-1967 before emigrating to England with my parents as a child. Here I proceeded to study and eventualkly became a doctor of medicine. My moist persistant memories of the school from those days are of our morning PT classes, where the whole school would participate in physical exercise before our lessons, our plays I remember The Pralad and his blind parents whom he took on pilgrimages and the displays of the articles for embroidory etc. Of Kapurthala I remember the big Dushera Melas with the large Raven for crfemation and the prickly pears that grew inm the field where this took place, the parades of the Heroes who go to war. Of shalimar Baag famous for its roses figs pomegranate trees and the large cinema shows of the life of Jesus Christ and the book fairs that were held there.

i want 2 kneel down n want 2 kiss d mother earth of my school n apologize 4 nt visiting my school frm last 3 years....its jst bcoz of lack of time bt i promiise dat i ll come bac in near future 2 get rezenuated n braced .....

I WAS WONDERING, HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT A SITE EXISTS AND MY SCHOOL IS NOT MARKED ON IT. WELL DONE- WE MUST KEEP THE SAIKAP FLAG FLYING HIGH.
